Advanced electronic signatures are essential to ensure secure, agile, and efficient business processes. That’s why integrating digital identity into your workflows is a competitive advantage that ensures traceability and regulatory compliance across your processes.
With the integration of Qflow and TuID, you can centralize document management, eliminating manual process handling without losing control or legal validity.
What is TuID?
TuID works as an electronic certificate issued by a certification authority recognized by the UCE (Electronic Certification Unit), allowing you to sign documents with advanced electronic signatures in Uruguay.
Each person can generate a digital identity in TuID, made up of personal data, a recognized certificate, and multiple authentication mechanisms. With TuID, you don’t need physical devices to store your certificate: your signatures remain secure through centralized cloud-based custody.
Features
With the release of Qflow 6.0, four features drive the integration of Qflow and TuID:
Create signature process
Generate a new signature process for the selected document: a link is sent to the signer and a signature process identifier is created so you can track its status. You can select signature styles in the input parameters and obtain the signing URL in the output parameters.
Using this identifier, you can perform queries and actions on the signature process.
Get document
Retrieve a signed PDF from TuID by entering the process identifier and the document name to generate, associating it with an application data field of type “Document”.
If the signature has not yet been completed, the connector will return an error message.
Get signature process status
The identifier also allows you to check the signature status, which can be: Pending, Finished (when the signature is completed), or NotFound.
Delete signature process
If needed, you can permanently delete the signature process from TuID using the identifier obtained when the process was created.
How do we integrate TuID with Qflow?
Before connecting your digital identity to a process in Qflow, you must subscribe to the TuID service and have at least one application parameter that establishes the connection between the tools. You can learn more about application parameters here.
Once the prerequisites are met, simply add a service task to your workflow design and configure it as a TuID integration, selecting the desired action.

Use Case
Integrating TuID into your enterprise management will speed up your business processes, ensuring security, confidentiality, and fast validation. Use it to power your processes such as:
Commercial agreements
By connecting TuID with your contract signing processes, you’ll reduce closing times for commercial agreements while preserving legal validity and improving process traceability.
Leave behind manual handling of printing, courier services, and coordination of physical signatures, as well as the risks of fragmented multi-platform automation with separate processes for each contract stage. With Qflow + TuID, drafting, approval, and signing are centralized in a single workflow, reducing the margin of error.
New employee onboarding
Integrate contract signing into your onboarding process design. This will simplify hiring, enabling a fully virtual and user-friendly onboarding experience while reducing administrative workload.
In addition to employment contracts, Qflow + TuID allows employees to sign confidentiality agreements, ethics policies, and other internal documents.
Supplier management
TuID enables validation of awards within your procurement or supplier management workflows, making processes more transparent and reducing document friction.
Purchase order approval
For large expenses, purchase orders may require certified approvals via electronic signatures. Connect your purchasing processes with TuID to obtain automatic audit records and maintain strong accountability control.
Conclusion
The TuID connector reduces operational time, minimizes errors, and simplifies document management. From commercial agreements to procurement processes, electronic signatures are integrated simply, securely, and at scale, supporting your company’s growth.
